Italeri AH-1T Sea Cobra Helicopter 1:48

Italeri AH-1T Sea Cobra Helicopter. Scale 1:48. The AH-1T Sea Cobra is an attack helicopter developed by Bell Helicopter as a direct evolution of the AH-1J to meet the operational requirements of the United States Marine Corps, with the aim of ensuring full operational capability and effectiveness during naval and amphibious operations. Compared with its predecessor, the AH-1T featured a redesigned fuselage and fuel tanks, allowing increased range, operational radius and loiter time over the target. It was used in close air support missions for ground forces, anti-tank warfare and armed reconnaissance. The crew consists of two people: the pilot and the weapons systems operator, seated in tandem configuration to optimise visibility during combat. In addition to its 20 mm cannon, the most common armament configuration included TOW anti-tank missiles and unguided rockets.
