Italerí Dodge WC54 Ambulance 1:35

Italerí Dodge WC54 Ambulance. Scale 1:35. The Dodge WC range of military transport vehicles was produced on a large scale by the US industry during the Second World War. Its design proved extraordinarily effective and, together with the famous ¼-ton Jeep Willys, the ¾-ton Dodge WC “Beeps” was one of the vehicles most manufactured by US factories during the conflict. It made a significant contribution to meeting the logistical needs of the US Army on the various war fronts. Among its many versions, the Dodge WC-54 “Ambulance” was one of the medical and evacuation vehicles most widely used during the Second World War. Thanks to its 4x4 configuration, it could travel over difficult terrain and, due to its specific interior fit-out, transport up to four stretchers or numerous wounded soldiers seated. It effectively ensured the link between the combat front and field hospitals located in the rear.
