VEHICLE HISTORY
The Italian Regio Esercito developed self-propelled artillery to support infantry and tank units. The 75/34 gun was installed on the chassis of the Semovente M42 and was designed for the anti-tank role. The first units arrived in the Italian Army in spring 1943 and, after the armistice in September of that year, it was also employed by German anti-tank battalions.
