VEHICLE HISTORY
- M-110 self-propelled howitzers were a central element of the United States Army’s field artillery for many years and were also used by allied countries.
- The M-110 A1 version, improved from 1977 onwards, used the long-range M201 203 mm gun.
- It was deployed for general support, counter-battery fire and the suppression of enemy positions, and was used extensively in the Lebanon conflict and the First Gulf War.
