VEHICLE HISTORY
- The T-34 was one of the best-known tanks of the Second World War and was a cornerstone of the Soviet Army during the conflict.
- Its sloped frontal armour increased protection against direct impacts, while the wide tracks improved mobility over mud and snow.
- The first versions armed with a short 76 mm gun gained an advantage over common German tanks such as the Panzer III and Panzer IV.
