VEHICLE HISTORY
The Leopard 2 entered service between the late 1970s and the early 1980s to replace the Leopard 1 in the Bundeswehr. It is armed with a 120 mm Rheinmetall L/55 gun and, despite its armour, can exceed 65 km/h. The A4 version features an advanced fire-control system and protection made from modern materials.
