HISTORY OF THE MIRAGE F1
The Dassault Mirage F-1 was designed to replace the Mirage III. The fighter version entered service with the French Air Force at the end of 1973 and progressively replaced the Mirage III. Its swept wing improved flight performance and manoeuvrability; subsequent updates to its electronics, avionics and armament extended its operational career in numerous air forces.
