HISTORY OF THE REAL MODEL
The F-16 Fighting Falcon was developed by General Dynamics from the late 1970s onwards. Initially conceived as a single-seat day fighter for air superiority for the United States Air Force, it evolved into a multirole combat aircraft for all-weather conditions. Its design incorporates a bubble canopy, side-stick controller, fly-by-wire system and modern avionics; it was used by numerous air forces on operational missions.
