MODEL HISTORY
The A-10 was developed for close support of troops and anti-tank missions. According to Italeri, the Thunderbolt, known as the «Warthog», is designed around its 30 mm GAU-8 cannon. The upgrade to the A-10C standard, carried out in the mid-2000s, adapted the aircraft to new operational requirements and to the use of advanced weapon, target acquisition and designation systems.
