VEHICLE HISTORY
The Tiger I was designed to reinforce the Wehrmacht's armoured divisions alongside the Panzer III and Panzer IV. Its main armament was the 88 mm KwK 36 L/56 gun, mounted in the turret. Italeri states that it saw action in the main theatres of operations, including Normandy and the Western Front, and that it remained greatly feared by Allied forces when operated by experienced crews.
