HISTORY OF THE CROMWELL
The Tank Cruiser Cromwell was developed by the British Army during the Second World War to replace the Crusader in its role as a cruiser tank. It stood out for its high speed and manoeuvrability, combined with adequate protection and a 75 mm main gun. It was also used effectively in close support of the infantry.
