VEHICLE HISTORY
The Sherman was one of the best-known tanks of the Second World War and became the standard model of the Allied armies. According to Italeri, the M4 combined acceptable armour protection, a reliable engine, good range and suitable armament, although its armour was not sufficient against the German 88 mm guns.
