VEHICLE HISTORY
The Land Rover was born in the post-war period, with prototypes produced in 1947, and stood out for its 4x4 four-wheel drive and robust construction. The aluminium body reduced weight and improved resistance to corrosion. By the arrival of Series III in 1971, more than one million units had already been manufactured; its versatility allowed it to be used for both civilian and military purposes, including adaptations for fire brigades with firefighting equipment.
