HISTORY OF THE FIAT 131 ABARTH
The Fiat 131 Abarth was based on the two-door Fiat saloon and received modifications from Abarth, including a lighter body, widened wheel arches and air intakes in the bonnet and sides. Built from 1976, it competed in the World Rally Championship until 1982. Its results include victory in the 1977 Sanremo Rally with J. C. Andruet and C. Delferrier.
