THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN
- Revell places this air battle in the summer of 1940 and considers it a turning point in the Second World War.
- During the four months of fighting, the Royal Air Force prevented the planned German invasion of Great Britain. The Spitfire became a symbol of British resistance, and the Hurricane proved to be a reliable fighter aircraft.
