MODEL HISTORY
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 saw service in World War II operations. According to information from Revell, its prototype made its maiden flight on 28 May 1935; the single-seat fighter was fitted with a DB 605 engine producing up to 1,435 hp, reached 594 km/h at an altitude of 7,400 m, and approximately 35,000 units were manufactured.
