VEHICLE HISTORY
The Opel Blitz medium truck was widely used by the German Army on all fronts of the Second World War. Several thousand examples were manufactured and, in addition to serving as a platform for anti-aircraft weapons, it was developed in tanker, workshop and ambulance versions. Its robust construction, easy maintenance and off-road capabilities facilitated its use both in the Russian campaigns and in Africa.
