VEHICLE HISTORY
The Land Rover emerged in the post-war period, with the first prototypes built in 1947 to meet civilian and military needs. Italeri highlights its 4x4 all-wheel drive, robust structure and aluminium bodywork, which helped reduce weight and improve resistance to corrosion. When Series III appeared in 1971, more than one million units had already been manufactured; the range included an 88-inch standard wheelbase and a 109-inch long wheelbase, represented in this model kit.
