HISTORY OF THE JAGUAR XJ 220
The project originated from the ideas of Jaguar employees who came together in the group «The Saturday Club». Its prototype was presented at the 1988 British Motor Show, and the first production vehicle was built in 1991. It reached 350 km/h and held the production-car speed record between 1992 and 1994.
