HISTORY OF THE JAGUAR T.2
- The Jaguar was developed in the 1960s through a joint project by the French and British aircraft industries.
- The RAF used it until well into the 2000s, including in operations in the Balkans and Iraq.
- The T2 variant was developed for the operational conversion of RAF pilots and could perform secondary ground-attack and close air support missions.
- Unlike the single-seat versions, the T2 was armed with a single 30 mm Aden cannon.
