HISTORY OF THE AIRCRAFT REPRESENTED
The North American P-51 Mustang is among the best-known single-seat piston-engine fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The P-51A variant was one of the first production versions and took part in operations as early as 1942. It was powered by an Allison V-1710 engine, and its armament included four 12.7 mm Browning machine guns installed in the wings.
