HISTORY OF THE FRS.1 SEA HARRIER
- The British Aerospace Sea Harrier was a VTOL/STOVL fighter aircraft developed for the embarked air units of the British Royal Navy.
- It entered service between the late 1970s and early 1980s as the fleet’s air-defence aircraft.
- In 1982, it operated from HMS Invincible and HMS Hermes during the Falklands War.
