HISTORY OF THE ORIGINAL AIRCRAFT
The Me 410 Hornisse was a twin-engined heavy fighter with a low-wing configuration, developed as an evolution of the Me 210 to replace the Bf 110. Equipped with two Daimler-Benz DB603 engines, it was assigned to various operational missions, including tactical support and bombing. Its distribution among Luftwaffe units was promoted from mid-1943, and it operated on fronts such as Italy, the Balkans and the Eastern Front.
