HISTORY OF THE REAL AIRCRAFT
The BF-109 G was the development of the earlier BF-109 F. This variant received a more powerful engine to improve speed and operational altitude, while some sub-variants reinforced their armament against the large Allied bombers. At the end of 1943, the BF-109 G formed the basis of Luftwaffe units.
