MODEL HISTORY
The Shelby Cobra 427 was created when Carroll Shelby combined the lightweight British AC Ace chassis with an American V8 engine. Revell states that, from 1965, this version used a 7.0-litre engine producing 425 hp; its blue and orange Gulf Oil livery became one of the car’s most recognisable visual features.
