HISTORY OF THE MODEL REPRESENTED
The Boeing 747 was the world’s largest passenger aircraft until 2005. Compared with the initial series, the 747-200 version featured more powerful engines and greater fuel capacity. KLM received its first 747-206B on 16 January 1971; the last of the 14 aircraft of this version operated by the airline was retired in 2004.
