MODEL HISTORY
According to Revell, Darth Vader used this prototype, the basis of the TIE Interceptor, during the Battle of Yavin. The TIE Advanced features a deflector shield generator, a simple hyperdrive, heavy twin cannons and a characteristic wing configuration with solar panels.
